America's Long Rider arrives in Topeka,
Kansas on November 16th 2002

On April 3rd, 1860, the first Pony Express rider and his bay mare rode into equestrian fame. For the next eighteen months teams of these courageous riders traveled from St. Joseph, Missouri to Sacramento, California, a distance of 2,000 miles, in ten days or less. Gene's route took him past the Pony Express trail in
Kansas.

I must tell you that it was not only a tremendous pleasure, but also a blessing from God to have med you. I will continue to pray for you always and I know, that through faith, you will raise more than enough money for the children of Paraguay. May God continue to bless you. I also pray that while you are traveling, God would use you in a way which would spread His gospel anyone whose path you cross.
