"Gene passed through Providence, RI, just the other day. He and a local Cavalry police officer stopped at my restaurant. I thought it was the neatest thing and lifted my spirits for the rest of the day. It made me smile. Considering my generation (I'm 22) is the high tech obsessed generation, it is good to see the basic methods of transportation still exist and are being practiced. Good for Gene, I hope his journey goes well and I hope he brings smiles to the faces of the rest of the state capitols like he brought to Providence, RI."

"I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to Gene Glasscock. My 11-year-old son Tyler and I were amazed at the story of Gene's journey around the country on horseback. We were truly blessed to meet such a great and inspiring man. I only had a chance for a few photos before Gene, Frank and George continued on their travels. After all, it's not very often a celebrity stops on Jackson Schoolhouse Road in Chepachet, Rhode Island! To Gene, Frank and George we wish lots of fair weather, many beautiful sunsets to ride off into, and happy trails."
