Hi Gene,
So wonderful to hear that all is going well for you. You
have been in our thoughts and prayers often since you stayed
with us in Rockham last summer. You were a blessing for us
as I am sure you have been for many. I hope you don't mind
getting a note from us now and again, I'm sure you get much
correspondence. We have been experiencing a warmer than
usual winter here and that is a blessing moisture is still
short but we can not complain many have it worse and the
Lord will take care of our needs as you well know. I was
glad to hear the boys all found their way into good homes, I
had no doubt that it wouldn't be hard, maybe choosing the
right one but I'm sure many were willing. Our calving
starts in a little over a month so life will once again pick
up the pace a bit, always revitalizing to see the new
miracles as they come to us. My mother has been having
chemo after breast cancer, she had talked of how you were
such an inspiration, I believe that you were helpful in that
way even before we knew about the cancer, thank you for
that! I won't praddle on; take care of yourself and good
luck with your next endeavor!
